Here's a quick update on this spicy clipper passing through. My website post yesterday set the table, so there is no real point in rehashing it. Fluffy, festive, and slick snow moves through the region during the day. Washington County is the jackpot region, as snow will persist longer. An inverted trough sets up south of Nova Scotia on Christmas Day, which may bring morning snow showers to the DownEast shorelines. However, accumulations appear to be minimal and not of real concern. We’re precipitation-free until Sunday when an upper-level ridge will work into the region. Timing and details are still to be ironed out but expect the risk of ice over the interior. For those traveling over the interior, planning a Saturday or early Sunday morning departure may not be a bad idea to get out ahead of this. Enjoy the Eve, and be blessed!
