Wind Advisory through 7 PM TuesdayVOTE TODAY if you haven't already. I don't engage in politics here, as there are numerous other platforms on the internet for that. Exercising the civic duty is essential, even in off years. IT'S GOING TO BLOW ALL DAY before speeds slowly drop overnight. We're going to experience a breezy stretch here, where the wind direction will vary from northwest to south/southwest over the next week. We can expect similar wind speeds to those we get on Tuesday again on Thursday. SNOW SHOWERS FOR THE MOUNTAINS, with a few rain showers along the Quebec border region, are expected through the day. The taller peaks may pick up an inch or two. Windchills in the teens to the 30s in the same area. CHILLY TEMPERATURES TO START WEDNESDAY in the mid-20s to mid-30s, with wind chills in the teens to 20s by daylight. RAIN AND ELEVATION SNOW MOVES IN ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON and passes through the region overnight into Thursday morning. While higher elevations are favored for accumulation, it would not surprise me to see snowflakes in most areas, with the potential for light accumulations on grass, as the atmosphere could be cold enough. SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUE in the mountains on Thursday with the northwest wind picking up again. WE PLAY THE SAME GAME AGAIN Friday night into Saturday with rain/snow showers with breezy conditions on the backside. This may also happen on Sunday into Monday. MINOR COASTAL FLOODING POSSIBLE on SATURDAY as the combination of wind direction and astronomical high tides may allow for it to happen. Stay tuned.
