Expect a few passing high/mid level clouds, but otherwise skies will be mostly clear! Overnight, temperatures will fall into the low 50s north and low 60s south. Some clouds will begin to move in during the early morning hours of Wednesday, but otherwise expect a mostly clear night as well. Showers move in Wednesday and linger into ThursdayA warm front approaches for Wednesday, bringing some showers and a chance for thunderstorms during the late afternoon and into the overnight hours. The day on Wednesday will be cloudier and slightly cooler than Tuesday, with temperatures in the upper 70s throughout the state. As the warm front passes on Thursday, dew points will get back up into the 60s statewide with temperatures in the upper 70s. Continue practicing heat safety!Excessive heat can be dangerous even after the sun goes down, especially if you're unable to cool down after a very hot day. So, don't forget to keep checking on elderly friends or family members and making sure they're staying cool. And don't forget to stay cool and hydrated yourself!
