For most areas, a decent but cool dayHigh pressure works into the region from Quebec on Thursday, and will bring cooler than normal temperatures with it. Central and eastern areas are likely to be the warmest in the state as that is where the sun will best warm the cool air mass. Where there is sun, high temperatures will likely reach the 60s. Where sun is limited, 50s are what to expect for the day. A weak disturbance rides over the heat dome to the southwest and may bring light some shower activity for southern Maine around noon. Other than that, the rest of the state stays dry for the day. Frost Advisory for parts of northern areas |
